Rider University's Carey Gatti of Maple Shade Awarded Undergraduate Travel Grant

Carey Gatti, '14, of Maple Shade, N.J., a Psychology major, was one of the 17 Rider University students recently awarded grants through the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Undergraduate Travel Grant Program, which provides funds of up to $500 toward registration, travel and/or housing for students to present their research at a professional meeting in their discipline.

The program, sponsored by Dr. Patricia Mosto, dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences, was established during the 2010-2011 academic year. This past fall, four grants were awarded. The recent student recipients are from a broad range of the sciences and liberal arts, and are representing Rider University at a variety of conferences across the United States this spring.

Carey will be attending the Association for Psychological Science Convention in Chicago
